New Hublot Big Bang for Red Devil

Having become an official timekeeper for the ‘Number One’ football club in the world – Manchester United, Hublot has created a new Big Bang watch to commemorate the remarkable partnership.

Fans of Manchester United will be delighted to see the moniker of “Red Devil,” the club’s nickname, on the watch’s dial. The timepiece catches the glance due to a variety of colorful design details.

The case of the Hublot Red Devil Bang watch is crafted from satin-polished black ceramic, measuring 44.5 mm in diameter. The satin black ceramic bezel features six titanium H-screws, a signature detail of the Big Bang watch collection.

The bezel lugs of the Red Devil Bang are in red composite resin, echoing the dial details of the same color.

The famous Manchester United logo highlights the matt black dial in the counter at 3 o’clock.

The 45-minute chronograph counter at 9 o’clock is one more zest of the timepiece – it has been specifically designed for measuring the halves of a football match.

The date is featured via a small rectangular aperture at 6 o’clock.

The dial is completed with red appliqués hour markers, brilliant black hour and minute hands provided with yellow luminescent feature for perfect readability, and a red chronograph hand.

The case construction incorporates glare-proofed sapphire crystals, and boasts 100-meter water-resistance. It is coupled with a ribbed black rubber strap fitted with a steel and black PVD deployant clasp.

The Hublot Red Devil Bang watch accommodates a self-winding mechanical movement – the HUB45 caliber. The movement comprises 252 components, providing a two-counter chronograph and an easy-to-adjust date display. The mechanism operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, so the chronograph is able to record independent time intervals with a precision of 1/8th second. One more advantage is a 42-hour power reserve.

The Hublot Big Bang will be available in a limited edition of just 500 individually numbered pieces. A part of the proceeds from the watches’ sale will be donated to the Manchester United Foundation, reaching out to young people through a variety of sports related activities.

Manchester United has won international fame due to the outstanding skills of such great football players as Eric Cantona, Bobby Charlton, George Best, and David Beckham, as well as Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, and Ryan Giggs.
